A person of Indian origin and holding renounced Indian passport copy and surrender certificate copy can apply for entry visa.
Person of Indian origin, his/her spouse and dependent children may be granted entry visa subject to their producing proof of the PIO status, marriage certificate (in respect of spouse) or birth certificate (in respect of the children).
Foreign national married to an Indian (holding Indian passport) or spouse of an OCI/PIO cardholder and dependent children may be granted Entry visa subject to production of necessary proof.

In case his/her spouse is Indian national, marriage certificate and spouse name needs to be endorsed in Indian spouse passport. If spouse name is not endorsed, marriage certificate needs to be attested from Indian consulate / Apostille / Human Resource Department.
CGI Approval will be required in the following entry visa cases
Foreign nationals going to India for training (Educational or Athletic) purpose.
For Sports/tournament from UAE school/college can be accepted for Entry Visa. Invitation from school/college from India, NOC from UAE school/college and NOC from parents if applicant is minor.
For Sports/tournament from Non School & Non College Invitation from the organization conducting the tournament/ event, MHA Clearance, MEA Clearance, Approval of Ministry of Sports are required.
Note:
For Minors (below 18 years) a NOC (No Objection Certificate) is required with proper content and it has to be signed by both parents. Parent's signature should be the same as is in their respective passports.Minor birth certificate in English is required.
For Pakistan Origins: If holding Pakistan nationality previously, then Pakistan nationality Surrender certificate is required.
Entry Visa Duration is Maximum for 6 months. For One year or more than one year prior approval required from CGI DUBAI.
