Holding ECR passport and now eligible for ECNR on the basis of his/her stay abroad for more than three years, Visa pages, immigration stamp pages must be enclosed.
ECR passport holder completed 3 years (1095 days) abroad, other than India - Application can be accepted with copies of entry/exit stamp and previous visas.
Applicant can change ECR status with duly attested Educational Certificate from Concerned State Human Resource Department (HRD).
For cancelling ECR Status in the case of dependents, (children / spouse) original and a photocopy of passport of the spouse / parent and birth certificate / marriage certificate is required who are having ECNR passport.
Minors holding ECR passport issued from outside Dubai can change their ECR to ECNR status passports from the respective passport issuing authority only. Those who completed Tenth Standard can submit passportapplication by attaching their Certificate copy and ECNR declaration.
Applicants above 50 years of age are eligible for ECNR passport.
