  • The applicant should submit the application in person for identification and both PARENT’s should accompany the child.
  • Both parents original passport is required for verification. Also clear passport copy is required which includes the first, last & observation page if any and Valid UAE Visa page to be attached along with the application (Photocopy services are available in the BLS center)
  • Both parents original signature (sign should be same as per respective passport) is required on the declaration column of the online application and on passport copy.
    • If one of the parent does not have the original passport at the time of submission, Sworn Affidavit and prior approval from CGI Dubai is required.
    • If the parent's passport is under the custody of court or Police custody and if the papers of the same are produced then sworn affidavit is not required.

For Minor Child Passport Renewal if one of the parent signature is missing on the application form :

  • If one of the parent is presently residing in India/Abroad then Original Annexure 'D' signed by parent who staying abroad and Annexure ‘C’ signed by the parent who is accompanying the child is required.
  • In case of one parent foreign national and Indian parent is presently residing in India/Abroad then Notarized NOC\Affidavit signed by parent who staying abroad and Annexure ‘C’ signed by the parent who is accompanying the child is required.
  • If parents are divorced then Custody Paper, Divorce Decree and Annexure ‘C’ signed by the parent who is accompanying the child is required.
  • If it is death case then Death Certificate needs to be attested by Home Department of the concerned State Government in India. If death registered in UAE then Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required. Annexure ‘C’ signed by the parent who is accompanying the child is required.
  • The signature needs to be done in presence of submission officer. Minors can change the signature up to 18 years without any supporting documents.
  • Current Passport in original with clear photocopy (of first, last, address page (if separate page), any other endorsement pages, Valid UAE visa page) and additional booklets original, if any.
  • Photo ID card copy with expiry details of ID - Emirates Id Card, Health Card.
  • BLS International offers "Other Service" for the Convenience of applicants at centres.
  • If parents are separated / no documents available / not registered or not issued from India (divorce decree and custody paper), CGI approval and Sworn affidavit is required.
  • In case of one parent foreign national additional documents would be required under the sole discretion of Consulate General of India, DUBAI.
